EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRY PROJECT – INSTRUCTIONS
1. Creative Cover
Write the name of the country in big letters.
Draw or paste an image of the flag, a map, or an important symbol of the country.
Include the student’s name and the date.
2. Geographical Location
Explain where in Europe the country is located.
Mention which countries surround it.
Include a colored map.
3. Flag and Its Meaning
Draw or paste the national flag.
Briefly explain what the colors or symbols represent.
4. Capital and Important Cities
Write the name of the capital city and a short description.
Mention at least two important cities and include interesting facts about them.
5. Official Language
State the main official language of the country.
Write three basic words in that language (example: “hello,” “thank you,” “goodbye”).
6. Currency
Explain which currency is used in the country.
If the country does not use the euro (€), explain which currency they have and its approximate value compared to the euro.
7. Traditional Food
Mention three traditional dishes from the country.
