Hi kids!
In this unit we are going to revise some important concepts to make them clear.
First of all, let's revise how to form the present, the past and the future.
REPORTED SPEECH
We use reported speech when we want to tell what someone said. We usually use a reporting verb (say/said, tell/told) and then change the tense.
EXAMPLES:
Direct: “I am tired,” Tom said.
Reported: Tom said/told he was tired.
Direct: "I go to the party,” Anna said.
Reported: Anna said/told she went to the party.
Direct: “The exam is easy,” the teacher told.
Reported: The teacher said/told the exam was easy.
